Amara qualified in 2009 and joined Rowanvale in 2015, becoming principal in 2021. She holds a certificate in small-animal cardiology and takes most of the practice’s heart cases.

She runs the Tuesday senior clinic and shares the weekend duty rota. Outside the practice she is a poor but enthusiastic gardener.
